Championship protection
Conference title participants retain an earned benefit claim; champions receive defined access and reward.
Transparent rankings
Separate earned résumé from predictive strength, publish the evidence, and explain material deviations.
Protected season
Move general transfer, formal signing, and head-coaching movement outside the championship run.
Better schedules
Meaningful nonconference games, common standards, an interconference challenge, and protected rivalries.
National Tournament
A distinct 16-team postseason only for eligible non-Power Four FBS institutions outside the CFP.
The immediate ask
Authorize a joint CFP–conference–NCAA design process to back-test, negotiate, legally review, and revise the framework for the next available format and rights cycle—not blind adoption.
