Effective August 28, 2026

Use the site.
Respect the work.

These terms explain the rules for reading, participating in, and reusing material from Better College Football. The related privacy and moderation practices appear in the Standards & Privacy page.

01

Who may use the site

The public project is open to read. Interactive features are not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the site only with a parent or guardian’s permission.

02

Your contributions

You keep ownership of writing you submit. By submitting it for publication, you give this project a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, format, reproduce, display, and distribute it on the site and in project records. You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate another person’s privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.

03

Moderation and removal

Submissions may be approved, declined, reformatted, corrected with permission, or removed. Publication is not guaranteed. In appropriate circumstances, accounts associated with repeated valid infringement notices or clear repeated infringement may lose community-submission access. The project may preserve limited private records when reasonably needed for moderation, security, dispute resolution, rights handling, or legal compliance.

04

Prohibited material

Do not submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, confidential, malicious, or privacy-invasive content; profanity or slurs; another person’s contact details; spam or malicious links; impersonate another person; probe or disrupt the service; automate submissions; or attempt to bypass account, rate, screening, or moderation controls.

05

Information, not authority

Rankings, simulations, schedules, financial ranges, proposed rules, and commentary are independent educational and editorial material. They are not official decisions, legal advice, financial advice, betting guidance, or a promise that any organization will adopt the proposal.

06

Marks and independence

Institutional, conference, bowl, poll, broadcaster, league, and championship names or marks identify documentary subjects and examples. They belong to their respective owners. Better College Football is independent and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by those organizations.

Copyright, trademarks, and DMCA

Report a specific problem.

If you believe material on the site infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or another right, use the documented reporting channel. Good-faith reports will be reviewed promptly. The current contact process is not a claim that the project has registered a designated DMCA agent.

Changes and questions

A public record, not hidden fine print.

Material changes will be dated on this page or in the version history. Continued use after a change means the updated terms apply. For privacy, corrections, removal, accessibility, or other questions, use the private contact form.

These terms are written for a small independent editorial project and do not replace advice from a qualified attorney.
