Historical backtesting
Twelve time-locked weekly ranking backtests now cover every official CFP release window in 2024 and 2025. Bracket access, hosting, protection, travel, rematches, game loads, and a longer held-out time horizon still require testing.
Athlete welfare & academics
Medical, recovery, finals, travel, practice-load, and total-season exposure standards require athlete, medical, academic, and legal review.
Ranking validation
NRR v0.48 combines five published measures: 30% quality-win depth, 30% schedule-adjusted record, 20% loss integrity, 15% opponent-adjusted performance, and 5% win control. The same formula scores every team, and the automated audit rejects manual or conference-based adjustments. Full formulas and inputs are published on the Rankings page.
Financial & media model
Rights inventory, cost categories, revenue waterfall, sensitivities, and protected athlete funding are structured; confidential commercial inputs are not supplied.
Legal & labor feasibility
Roster freezes, contracting, movement windows, representation, revenue sharing, and enforcement require negotiated and jurisdiction-specific analysis.
Host operations
Campus capacity, security, hotels, broadcast connectivity, visiting allocations, weather, and contingency standards require site-level verification.
Public and stakeholder review
The proposal and supporting files are public, a moderated response forum is open, and changes will be recorded in the version history.
